There are also new products launching like New Year's Micro Insurance with 7 Baht Insurance and 10 Baht Plus Insurance as well as new policy launching to solve the latest case of benefits compensation from lack of using the car, etc. Such activities have been known to the public and resulted in better image and reputation of the organization. The promotion of insurance in the region has to be pro-actively in establishing a good relationship with the state, private and public networks, as well as related stakeholders. The OIC’s provincial office should have a credible image by maintaining a neutral, non-biased basis between the insurer and the insured and, consequently, creating good understanding and attitude, led to good cooperation among the Office of headquarter and provincial office, the public, and the insurer. The insurance promotion and publication require information readiness to communicate accurately and promptly. The integration in sharing information and technology applying is from the cooperation between the regional and provincial offices to be in the same direction and standard. The development of regional personnel is the ability to work proactively in the digital age effectively.
The OIC secretary- General defined that in 2019, the Office will push cross-border insurance intensively in all dimension, which the OIC staffs have to be responsible for monitoring and directing this matter. In addition, the digital Blue Card will be applied to facilitate the cross-country car insurance service for ASEAN countries. Also, the forum on workshops led by the OIC for relevant both public and private has united and tackled the tough issues and obstacles, as well as practical guidelines formulating on the cross-border insurance. In parallel, Thailand will host the 23rd ASEAN Finance Ministers' Conference in Chiang Rai, in 2019, which the Office shall submit the approved proposal to be one agenda by the Preparation Working Committee of this Ministerial Conference, on microinsurance product.
